OUR COMMITMENTS

French know-how

We are a French company that has stayed that way, and we are proud of it!

Producing our goods in France is essential to us: we are committed to our roots, to the local area, to our know-how and history.

We regularly invest in our production facilities in order to modernise them, make them more efficient and improve working conditions.

We have three sites in France. Our head office is located in Paris, our factory is in Forbach (Laboratoires Juva Productions) and our warehouse is in Gevrey Chambertin (Juva Distribution).

For us, having the whole value creation chain on French territory is:

A guarantee of quality

Control of quality and traceability

A local commitment

Short supply chains for improved responsiveness

An entrepreneurial mindset

Keeping all our skills in France

A guarantee of quality

Producing and distributing our products from French territory enables us to control and guarantee the quality and traceability of our products.

Knowing and controlling the conditions in which our products are made is a priority for us and a fundamental requirement.

Our policy is to produce as many of our goods in-house as possible whenever we have the expertise to do so. The diversity of our catalogue also means working with partners who have expertise in areas that are sometimes complementary or very different to ours.

We pay special attention to control of the value chain and traceability.

We therefore develop our catalogue in 2 ways:

  • Thanks to our own production facility in France, we we guarantee the quality of our products and can bring the very best to our consumers. Our skills and expertise are mastered in-house. The close relationship between teams allows us to be agile and responsive, and adapt quickly to regulatory changes or market needs.
We have been awarded several certifications by independent organisations, enabling us to challenge our processes with a view to continuous improvement.Every year, we make investments to renew and improve equipment, in order to maintain a high level of competitiveness while ensuring the best possible working conditions.
  • Through partnerships with other experts. We have many historic partners in our portfolio of subcontractors. Each partner is assessed annually, and business reviews and audits are conducted at regular intervals. 65% of our partners have been with us for over 10 years.

We favour local businesses and give priority to suppliers located near our sites.

Controlling the traceability of our products and the service delivered is essential.

Each product made at our production site or with one of our partners and stocked at our logistics centre is checked, recorded and tracked until it is sent off to our customers. All of our products are dispatched from our logistics centre.

Thanks to our nearby logistics centre, we are able to tailor our order preparation methods to our different types of customer, in our French and international distribution networks. Our organisation with a team of multi-skilled operators allows us to achieve fast reponse times and cope with seasonal peaks.

In the interest of continuous improvement, we pay particular attention to our service rate performance.

A local commitment

In Forbach

Located in Forbach, our factory has been a major local employer for almost 30 years. We are proud to contribute to the development and maintenance of economic activity in the Forbach metropolitan area, since 80% of staff at our industrial site are recruited locally.

We are committed to training young local talent, developing our people’s skills and giving them access to employment on our site or in another of the group’s entities.  Our employees have a sense of belonging and pride in their company, and half of our staff have been with us for over 10 years. 70% of our executives had not yet reached that level when they were hired.

In order to promote employment and local business activity, but also for environmental reasons, we favour partnerships with the stakeholders closest to us, whether for supply, maintenance or even recycling. For example, our boxes are manufactured within 200 km of the factory.

For more than 15 years, we have been committed to helping the environment, notably by embarking on an ISO 14001 certification process.
This certification was awarded in 2004 and is revalidated each year.
The ISO 14001 standard defines an environmental policy with clear objectives to prevent pollution, meet regulatory requirements, manage our emissions and consumption, and reduce and recycle our waste.

Some example in our day-to-day life :

  • The heat emitted by some machines is recovered and used to heat the premises.
  • The toilet water is supplied by rainwater.
  • The car park is equipped with charging points for electric vehicles, whose electricity is paid for by the company as an incentive.

In Gevrey-Chambertin

Our distribution centre, where we store all our products and prepare our customers’ orders, is located in Gevrey-Chambertin near Dijon. With a surface area of 17 000m² which has doubled in 5 years, the business is continuing to expand and 85% of staff are recruited locally.

As is the case for our factory, we are committed to working with local businesses.

For example, we use local carriers or local branches of national chains, our pallets are purchased from a supplier in Burgundy and our service providers for waste treatment, maintenance and forklift purchases are all local businesses.

In both localities we are involved in business associations that allow us to exchange good practices, know-how and more.

We participate in local events like the Odyssea Race, the La Forbachoise run and more, and we choose local work integration social enterprises for our packaging, cleaning and catering services.

An entrepreneurial mindset

In the interest of fostering the entrepreneurial spirit that drives Juva Santé, keeping all our skills in France enables us to control the value chain and be efficient and responsive.

The teams work in close collaboration, with a perfect knowledge of each other’s constraints.

The head office teams regularly visit the various sites, which helps them to understand work flows and issues, creates a close relationship between employees and makes the work more human and efficient.

Our employees are proud of their brands, they are the first to test and use them. They are committed to developing the best products.

Our strength lies in our French know-how and our history. We have managed to preserve our uniqueness and our values, those of a family business guided by a constant quest for excellence, boldness, agility and togetherness.
